DOÑA ANA COUNTY, NM — Crews responded to a wreck involving several commercial motor vehicles Wednesday on Interstate 10 in west Las Cruces, reports the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
The wreck took place on the eastbound interstate near the U.S. Border Patrol Checkpoint. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 3:21 p.m.
No details have been released regarding the circumstances behind the crash, but the right travel lane was shut down as a result.
Commuters were warned of delays and asked to slow down and proceed with extra caution through the area.
