RIO RANCHO, NM — First responders were called to a wreck last Wednesday after a driver hit a fence near a Rio Rancho apartment complex, reports Rio Rancho Observer.
The incident was reported near Meadowlark Apartments, off Meadowlark Lane, shortly before noon.
A preliminary investigation shows a white Ford sedan was traveling eastbound on the road when it abruptly turned northbound. The sudden turn caused the vehicle to strike and knock down a section of a steel fence.
Moments later, the vehicle came to rest facing south and against a wood wall at the nearby complex.
As of this writing, authorities have not reported any injuries.
It was not immediately clear whether the driver was issued any citations.
