ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle accident Monday morning caused a possible gas leak in the South Broadway area near downtown Albuquerque, according to KRQE.
Albuquerque Police responded to the scene near the intersection of Broadway Boulevard Southeast and Avenida Cesar Chavez.
Authorities did not say what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved, but asked the public to avoid the scene.
Broadway Boulevard was closed between Avenida Cesar Chavez and Southern Avenue Southeast as emergency crews worked on the leak.
As of this writing, no injuries or pending charges have been reported.
