DOÑA ANA COUNTY, NM — A commercial motor vehicle overturned Friday morning, blocking part of northbound Interstate 25 in Las Cruces, according to the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
The accident happened at milepost 4, just north of East Lohman Avenue and was first recorded by NMDOT at 9:00 a.m.
Very few details have been released, but all northbound lanes of I-25 were shut down at milepost 0, with traffic diverted at Interstate 10.
Motorists were urged to slow down and use extra caution in the area as emergency crews responded to the scene. Delays were anticipated.

At this time, it remains unclear what caused the CMV to overturn and whether another vehicle was involved. Local officials have not confirmed any injuries.
