Crews respond to CMV crash on I-10 WB in Anthony

DOÑA ANA COUNTY, NM — A crash involving a commercial motor vehicle was reported Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 10 in Anthony, according to NM Roads.

The accident happened on the westbound lanes of I-10 at mile marker 162, just before East O’hara Road, or New Mexico State Road 404. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 1:50 p.m.

Details remain limited, but at the time of the initial report, the westbound interstate was blocked, forcing traffic to get by through the right shoulder.

Motorists were urged to slow down and use extra caution as emergency personnel tended to the scene. Delays were anticipated in the area.

At this time, no injuries have been confirmed.
