SAN JUAN COUNTY, NM — Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash early Wednesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 64 in Farmington, according to NM Roads.
The accident impacted the eastbound lanes between mile markers 54 and 50, or from the South Browning Parkway area to West Broadway. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 12:50 p.m.
Little information has been provided, but officials said the eastbound highway between the mile markers were closed as first responders worked to clear the scene. Motorists were urged to plan for alternate routes.
As of 3:00 p.m., more than two hours later, no updates have been released. It remains unclear what caused the wreck, how many vehicles were involved, and whether anyone was hurt.
