BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — A vehicle accident Friday afternoon had one westbound lane of Interstate 40 closed in Edgewood, according to NM Roads.
The crash happened at mile marker 187, before New Mexico State Road 344. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 1:21 p.m.
While no information regarding the circumstances of the wreck has been shared, the closure remained in place for over 1.5 hours as crews responded.
As of 2:54 p.m., no updates on the scene conditions have been released, and no injuries have been confirmed.
