SANTA FE COUNTY, NM — A vehicle crash was reported late Monday morning on southbound Interstate 25 near southwest Santa Fe, according to NM Roads.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at mile marker 265, just north of New Mexico State Road, at around 11:35 a.m.
Officials have not disclosed any information about the cause of the accident or the vehicles involved, but the right southbound lane was closed as a result.
The closure remained in place for at least two hours, suggesting a more involved emergency response.
Motorists were told to expect delays in the area and to use extra caution as they pass by the scene.
As of this writing, it remains unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt and/or had to be taken to a hospital.
