Crash reported on I-25 near Ribera, lane remains closed day later

SAN MIGUEL COUNTY, NM — A collision Tuesday afternoon has kept Interstate 25 near Ribera partially blocked for nearly a day, reports NM Roads.

The accident impacted the southbound interstate at mile marker 323, before the ramp to New Mexico State Road 3. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 2:41 p.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were involved, but a left lane and left shoulder were closed in the aftermath.

Nearly 24 hours later, officials have not released any updates regarding changes in conditions.

No information on potential injuries has been shared.
