
BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — A semi-truck was involved in a crash Wednesday morning that closed three lanes on Interstate 40 near Carnuel, reports KRQE.
The accident impacted the eastbound lanes of I-40 approaching Exit 170 to New Mexico State Road 333 into the city. It was first reported by KRQE at 10:11 a.m.
Authorities did not immediately say what caused the collision or whether anyone was seriously hurt, but a semi-truck and one other truck were involved. It was unclear whether the other “truck” was another semi or a pickup.
Motorists were warned of delays in the area and advised to find alternate routes around the scene.
