ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Authorities were called to a collision Thursday afternoon on Interstate 40 in northeast Albuquerque, reports NMRoads511.
The accident impacted the eastbound interstate east of San Mateo Boulevard Northeast (mile marker 162), in the city’s Alvarado Park neighborhood. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 1:05 p.m.
Details remain limited, but the two right lanes and right shoulder were blocked as a result of the crash.
