Crash blocks I-40 EB exit ramp to Lousiana Blvd in Albuquerque’s Uptown

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle accident Thursday morning closed an Interstate 40 offramp near Jerry Cline Park in Albuquerque’s Uptown area, according to NM Roads.

The wreck occurred on the ramp connecting I-40 eastbound to Louisiana Boulevard Northeast, shortly before 9:13 a.m.

Commuters were urged to seek alternate routes as long delays were projected in the area.

As of this writing, no updates have been released regarding the parties involved or any injuries sustained.
