ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Major traffic delays were reported after a vehicle crashed into a fire hydrant in northeast Albuquerque late last month.
According to KOB.com, the vehicle crashed into the hydrant near University Boulevard and Menaul Boulevard on Thursday, March 24th.
It is unclear if anyone in the vehicle were injured in the crash. However, a significant amount of water was streamed across the roadway, creating a sinkhole.
Water was shut off for some residents in the area immediately following the incident, but returned a short time later.
