ALBUQUERQUE, NM – One person was rushed to the hospital following a collision on I-40 in west Albuquerque early Sunday morning.
According to a report by KQRE, the crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. near the exit to Wyoming Boulevard Northeast.
First responders say one person was extricated from their vehicle and taken to a local hospital. Inedita reports were that the victim died at the hospital. However, UNM Hospital confirmed they are currently in critical condition.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report.
