Collision closes section of Interstate 40 near Urban Forest Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A crash shut down a portion of westbound Interstate 40 near Carlisle Boulevard Northeast on Wednesday, according to KOB.

The wreck occurred sometime on Wednesday afternoon. It caused traffic to back up past Pennsylvania Street, which is over two and a half miles east of the crash site.

Officials have not provided more details.

Motorcyclist injured following crash near Fair Plaza Shopping Center

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A motorcyclist was hurt in a wreck at Lomas Boulevard Northeast and San Pedro Drive Northeast on Tuesday, according to ABQ Raw.

The victim crashed around 9:40 p.m.

First responders transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s Motor Unit is investigating the incident.

Emergency crews respond to accident on New Mexico 4 near Jemez Springs

JEMEZ SPRINGS, NM – According to NMRoads, first responders were called to a crash on northbound New Mexico 4 at mile marker 20 on Wednesday.

Dispatchers received calls concerning the incident around 8:26 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
