ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police responded to a crash last Friday afternoon on Interstate 40 near Albuquerque’s Los Jardines area, reports APD Traffic.
The accident happened on the westbound interstate at Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest (Exit 157A). Officers arrived on the scene after receiving the call at around 1:41 p.m.

No details have been shared regarding the circumstances behind the wreck, but a section of the westbound interstate from Rio Grande Boulevard to 12th Street was blocked.
