BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — Deputies responded to a vehicle crash late Tuesday morning on Interstate 40 near Carnuel, reports the Bernallilo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred on the westbound lanes at mile marker 171, before U.S. Route 66. It was first reported by the sheriff’s office at 11:18 a.m.
Authorities have not released details on the cause of the crash, but all westbound traffic was reduced to one lane during the emergency response and investigation.
