ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon blocked a right lane and shoulder on Interstate 40 in northwest Albuquerque, according to NMRoads511.
The accident took place on the eastbound lanes at Exit 157 to Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest, near the city’s West Old Town neighborhood. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index shortly before 1:00 p.m.
Authorities have not provided further information indicating the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved, but the closure remained in place for over 45 minutes.
