Collision closes all southbound lanes on Louisiana Blvd in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police responded to a vehicle crash Thursday morning on Louisiana Boulevard in far east Albuquerque, according to APD Traffic.

The accident happened on the southbound lanes at Holly Avenue Northeast, south of North Domingo Baca Park. APD were called to the scene shortly before 10:41 a.m.

Authorities have not shared details on the circumstances behind the crash, but by 11:55 a.m., all southbound lanes of Louisiana Boulevard were shut down. All eastbound lanes of Holly Avenue were also blocked at the intersection.


Shortly after 2:00 p.m., more than three hours later, the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened.

As of this writing, no injuries have been reported.
