ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A vehicle accident Thursday morning closed a left lane on Interstate 40 in northwest Albuquerque, according to TTN Albuquerque.
The wreck occurred on the eastbound lanes near Exit 155 to Coors Boulevard Northwest, in the Los Volcanes area. It was first captured on the city’s traffic cameras shortly before 8:25 a.m.
Details remain limited, but at the time of the initial report, a traffic backup had stretched one exit down to Unser Boulevard (Exit 154).

At 8:50 a.m., at least 25 minutes later, officials announced the scene had been cleared.
