ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Authorities responded to a crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 40 near Albuquerque’s Netherwood Park area, reports NMRoads511.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes at mile marker 160, near University Boulevard Northeast. It was first recorded by NM Roads at 1:19 p.m.
Few details have been disclosed, but the two right lanes and right shoulder were blocked in the aftermath of the wreck.

Shortly after 2:00 p.m., more than 40 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
