ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Authorities were called to a crash late Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 40 in east Albuquerque, according to NM Roads.
The accident happened on the eastbound side of I-40 at Exit 164 to Wyoming Boulevard Northeast, in the city’s Snow Heights area.
Motorists were asked to slow down and approach the area with extra caution as emergency crews responded.
The right eastbound lane was closed following the crash, but no estimated clearance time was immediately provided.
It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously injured.
