ALBUQUERQUE, NM – An accident on I-40 Thursday afternoon caused significant traffic delays in northwest Albuquerque.
According to a report by Total Traffic Albuquerque, the collision took place at about 4 p.m. along the westbound lanes of the freeway, near Exit 160 to Carlisle Boulevard.

At least two lanes were blocked as a result of the crash. Delays were reported in the area going back to Eubank Boulevard.
