Bicyclist fatally struck by driver near Fairgrounds Addition

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KRQE, a driver struck and killed a bicyclist near Central Avenue and San Pedro Drive Northeast Wednesday morning.

The driver hit the victim around 8 a.m.

First responders pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

Multiple people injured in bus crash on West Jimenez Road in Los Alamos

LOS ALAMOS, NM – Several people aboard a city bus were hurt in a crash on West Jimenez Road near Los Alamos National Lab on Wednesday morning, according to KRQE.

A driver hit the bus around 10:30 a.m. The collision caused the bus to get stuck on a berm.

An unknown number of people on the bus suffered minor injuries. It is unclear if anyone was transported to a hospital.

Traffic was delayed in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Traffic near Rio Bravo Condominiums blocked by multiple crashes

SOUTH VALLEY, NM – According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, multiple lanes at 2nd Street Southwest and Rio Bravo Boulevard Southwest were closed due to numerous collisions Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies responded to the incident around 1:30 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the accident.
