Bicycle rider struck by car near school in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A bicycle rider was injured in an accident in northeast Albuquerque last week, according to KRQE.

The incident took place May 15 near Madison Middle School in the area of Comanche Road and Moon Street.  A person riding a bicycle was struck by a car while riding at about 7 a.m. The victim suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

It was reported that the driver involved appeared to stay at the crash scene.

Traffic restricted on Paseo Del Norte due to rollover crash

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Drivers were alerted to a crash affecting traffic in Albuquerque early Thursday morning.

An advisory from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office posted at 5:49 a.m. stated that a rollover accident occurred in the area of Paseo Del Norte.  The westbound portion of the roadway was reduced to two lanes at 2nd Street.

No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved.

Accident shuts down U.S. 64 east of Farmington

FARMINGTON, NM – The New Mexico Department of Transportation reported a vehicle crash caused a highway closure in San Juan County on Friday afternoon.

According to an alert on NMroads at 12:32 p.m., the incident took place on U.S. 64 at mile marker 59, four miles east of Farmington.

Eastbound 64 was closed while emergency services crews responded to clear the crash scene.
