Bicycle and motorcycle collide, killing 1 in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police responded to a crash Wednesday evening that claimed the life of one person in northeast Albuquerque, reports KOB.

Officers were called to the scene at 3301 Monroe Street, in the city’s McKinley neighborhood.

The circumstances behind the collision were not immediately clear, but the APD said a motorcycle and a bicycle were involved.

One victim suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, confirmed authorities.

Medics rushed a second victim to a nearby hospital where they were listed in critical condition.

An investigation was underway.
