BFCD responds to RV fire off I-25 in south Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A residential vehicle became engulfed in flames Wednesday evening off Interstate 25 in south Albuquerque, reports KOAT.

The incident occurred in an area near Broadway Boulevard Southeast and was first reported at about 5:45 p.m. Bernalillo County Fire Department crews responded to the scene shortly after and were able to contain the blaze.

At this time, the cause of the fire remains unknown, but officials said the RV was found abandoned, and no injuries were reported in the event.

No closures or lane restrictions were reported in the area.
