
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies responded to multiple collisions due to black ice Thursday morning on Interstate 40 in west Albuquerque, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accidents impacted a span of the interstate between 98th Street Northwest and Route 55 Casino Hotel. At about 11:53 a.m., BCSO officials were on the scene of a few different crashes.
While no information on the involved parties has been released, no one was seriously injured.
In the wake of the wrecks, the sheriff’s office advised motorists to slow down and be cautious of patches of ice along the roadway.
