BCSO responds to wreck on Rio Grande Blvd in north Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies were called to a collision Saturday evening on Rio Grande Boulevard in north Albuquerque, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident was reported at the intersection with Tres Alamos (Country Lane), in the city’s Almaden Valley neighborhood. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 5:44 p.m.

No details regarding the cause of the wreck have been shared, but Rio Grande Boulevard was closed in both directions as deputies responded to the scene.


It remains unclear whether anyone was injured.
