BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — A vehicle crash Tuesday morning reduced all of westbound Interstate 40 to two lanes in east Tijeras, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened on the westbound side of I-40 at Exit 181 to New Mexico State Road 306, or Sedillo Hill Road. It was first reported by the BCSO at 6:46 a.m.
Officials have not said what may have caused the wreck, but only two westbound lanes remained open to traffic in the immediate aftermath.

Shortly after 8:00 a.m., more than an hour later, the scene was announced cleared and all lanes were reopened to the public.

No injuries were immediately reported.
