ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A hit-and-run collision last Friday night had part of eastbound Montaño Road closed in north Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident was reported on a span of the road (New Mexico State Road 423) at the intersection with Edith Boulevard. It was first reported by the BCSO at 8:56 p.m., when deputies had already arrived on the scene.
Officials have not released any information regarding the circumstances of the event, but no injuries were immediately reported.

All eastbound eastbound traffic on Montaño Road was reduced to a single open lane during the response and initial investigation.
