BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — At least one person died Sunday night after a collision in southwest Albuquerque’s Stinson Tower neighborhood, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
BCSO deputies were dispatched to the scene at the corner of Tower Road and Stinson Street shortly before 8:47 p.m.
The circumstances of the crash were not immediately disclosed, but officials confirmed at least one person died from their injuries at the scene.
All westbound lanes of Tower Road were closed as investigators arrived on the scene. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
