BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — A collision Sunday morning closed an Interstate 40 exit ramp in west Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened on the westbound I-40 ramp to Atrisco Vista Boulevard (Exit 149). It was first reported by the sheriff’s office at 6:56 a.m., after deputies had already responded to the scene.
Officials did not immediately say what caused the crash or how many vehicles were impacted, and it was unclear how long the closure was expected to remain in place.
