ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies responded to a collision Tuesday evening on Central Avenue in far west Albuquerque, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes at 122nd Street, between city’s Westland Row and Route 66 West areas. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 8:51 p.m.
Officials have not disclosed details on the circumstances behind the crash, but all westbound lanes were blocked in the aftermath.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area during the emergency response and investigation.
