ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A section of westbound Bridge Boulevard was closed Tuesday evening in southwest Albuquerque following a vehicle crash, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred at the intersection with Atrisco Drive Southwest, in the city’s South Atrisco area. Deputies arrived on the scene shortly after 6:30 p.m.
While the circumstances of the crash were not immediately disclosed, all westbound lanes of Bridge Boulevard remained closed for over an hour, suggesting a more involved emergency response.

By 7:39 p.m., the roadway was reopened to the public.
The sheriff’s office has not confirmed any major injuries as of this writing.
