BCSO responds to crash on 2nd St NW in Albuquerque’s Almaden Valley

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle wreck late Sunday morning shut down all northbound lanes of 2nd Street Northwest in north Albuquerque, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials were called to the scene at the intersection with Paseo Del Norte Boulevard (NM-423) in the city’s Almaden Valley neighborhood. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 11:28 a.m.

At this time, the sheriff’s office has not shared further details regarding the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved.

At 12:33 p.m., over an hour later, the roadway was reopened to traffic.


It remains unclear at this time whether anyone was hurt.
