BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM – A motorcycle accident was reported Thursday afternoon, May 30, near Clinton P Anderson Park in South Valley, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes of Isleta Boulevard at Clinton Boulevard, in an area just northeast of El Camino Real Academy. BCSO deputies responded to the scene shortly before 2:12 p.m.
Details are limited, but at the time of the BCSO report, traffic was being detoured onto Clinton Boulevard. Motorists were warned of delays impacting the area and asked to seek alternate routes.

By 2:41 p.m., both northbound and southbound lanes of Isleta Boulevard were shut down at the intersection to accommodate the ongoing investigation.
No clearance time was immediately announced. At this time, the rider’s condition has not been disclosed.
SOCORRO COUNTY, NM – A section of northbound Interstate 25 in Lemitar was closed Friday morning following a crash, according to NM Roads.
The collision, which closed the northbound highway at milepost 156, near Calle de Lemitar, was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 6:38 a.m.
Authorities did not immediately say what led up to the wreck, but traffic was detoured onto the frontage road at Calle de Lemitar and then back onto I-25 at milepost 163, in San Acacia.
Motorists were urged to slow down and heed posted signs as crews worked to clear the scene. Delays were expected.
By 11: 45 a.m., more than five hours after the initial report, the closure remained in place, signaling a more involved emergency response.
No information regarding the involved parties or potential injuries has been shared at this time.
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Authorities were called to a wreck late Friday morning on Interstate 40 near Albuquerque’s Netherwood Park area, according to NM Roads.
The collision took place on the westbound lanes of I-40 at Exit 159 toward northbound I-25. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 11:46 a.m.
Very few details have been released at this time, but the right westbound lane and shoulder were closed as a result of the incident.
Drivers were advised of delays impacting the area and urged to take extra caution while passing the scene.
