BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — Deputies responded to a crash Sunday morning that closed a section of New Mexico State Road 14 in Cedar Crest, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened near Matterhorn Drive and was first reported by the BCSO shortly before 8:13 a.m.
All northbound and southbound lanes of the highway were blocked, forcing traffic to re-route onto Matterhorn Drive.
Motorists were warned of delays as an emergency response and investigation were carried out.
By 12:06 p.m., nearly four hours later, crews had cleared the scene and all travel lanes were restored to traffic.
