ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle crash Monday evening closed a lane on southbound Interstate 25 in south Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident impacted the southbound lanes between New Mexico State Road 47 (Broadway Boulevard Southeast) and Bates Road Southeast, in the Mountain View area. It was first reported by the BCSO at 7:18 p.m.
While officials have not disclosed the cause of the wreck, traffic was restricted in the area with lane #2 blocked at the time of the report.
By 8:11 p.m., nearly an hour later, crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
