BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — BCSO deputies responded to a crash involving a motorcycle Friday afternoon in Albuquerque’s Almaden Valley area, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened at the intersection of Alameda Boulevard Northwest (New Mexico State Rod 528) and Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest. Officials arrived on the scene shortly before 4:28 p.m.
It was unclear what led up to the wreck, but all westbound and eastbound lanes of Alameda Boulevard were blocked as a result. Motorists were urged to find other routes around the scene.
At this time, the sheriff’s office has not said whether another vehicle was involved, and the condition of the motorcyclist remains unknown.
