SANTA FE COUNTY, NM — A vehicle crash late Thursday morning closed a left lane on Interstate 40 near Edgewood, according to NM Roads.
The accident was reported on the westbound lanes of I-40 between mile markers 185 and 186, in an area about 9 miles west of Moriarty. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 11:53 a.m.
Officials have not disclosed a sequence of events leading up to the crash, but emergency crews were already on the scene at the time of the initial report.
Motorists were advised of delays and asked to use extra caution as they approach the scene.
At this time, it remains unclear whether anyone was seriously injured.
