
SOCORRO COUNTY, NM — Emergency crews were called to a wreck Sunday night on Interstate 25 near southwest San Antonio, reports the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the southbound lanes near milepost 132. Dispatchers received the call shortly before 9:06 p.m.
It remains unclear what led up to the accident or what vehicles were involved, but the southbound interstate was shut down as crews responded.
All southbound traffic was re-routed to NM-1 at milepost 139, causing delays in the area.
