ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Injuries were reported Friday morning following a collision on Interstate 25 in southeast Albuquerque, according to APD Traffic.
The accident impacted the southbound lanes of I-25 at Exit 221 to Sunport Boulevard, near Albuquerque International Sunport. Albuquerque Police Department officers and Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to the scene shortly before 6:28 a.m.
Neither agency has shared any details indicating the cause of the crash or the vehicles involved. At least one person was confirmed hurt, but the extent of their injuries was not immediately clear.
