EDDY CO., NM – At least one person was killed in a crash involving three motorcyclists and a pickup truck near Carlsbad on Wednesday night, according to the Carlsbad Current-Argus.
Deputies with the Eddy County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on US-285 near Thomason Road at about 6:45 a.m.
Officials confirmed at least one unidentified victim suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The total number of those injured remains unclear.
Details concerning the cause of the crash are not mentioned in the report.
U.S. Highway 285 south was temporarily closed at Thomason Road while crews worked to clear the scene. Later on, the closure was extended to Eglin Road.
All lanes were reopened by 11 a.m.
Rush-hour crash blocks I-40 ramp at Coors Blvd.
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Commuters in northwest Albuquerque faced traffic delays following a rush-hour collision on I-40 this morning.
According to a report by KKOB Traffic, the collision occurred at about 7:39 a.m. along the entrance ramp from Coors Boulevard.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police and fire officials in northeast Albuquerque were called to the scene of an accident near Montgomery Park last Friday afternoon, APD Traffic reports.
The collision took place just before 4 p.m. on San Mateo Boulevard Northeast near the intersection with Comanche Boulevard Northeast.
