
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police were called to a crash early Sunday evening on Interstate 25 in northeast Albuquerque, according to APD Traffic.
The accident was reported on the southbound lanes at Exit 228 to Montaño Road Northeast. Officers responded to the scene shortly before 5:28 p.m.
Authorities did not say what led up to the collision, but a section of the southbound interstate from Montaño Road to just north of Comanche Road was closed as a result.

By 6:44 p.m., well over an hour later, the scene was reported cleared and all southbound lanes at Comanche Road were reopened.
