
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police were called to a collision Tuesday morning on Interstate 40 near Albuquerque’s West Old Town area, according to APD Traffic.
Authorities said the accident happened on the eastbound interstate at Exit 157A to Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 8:11 a.m.
While the cause of the crash has not been disclosed, two vehicles were involved, leaving the left shoulder blocked.

At this time, it remains unclear whether anyone was seriously injured or had to be taken to a hospital.
