APD responds to pedestrian crash in Albuquerque’s Highland Business area

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A pedestrian collision was reported early Tuesday afternoon near the Highland Business neighborhood in east Albuquerque, reports APD Traffic.

Albuquerque Police responded to the scene at the corner of San Mateo Boulevard Northwest and Central Avenue Southeast. It was first reported by the department’s dispatchers at 12:42 p.m.

At this time, no information on the victim or the extent of their injuries has been released.

It was unclear whether the driver remained after the incident or fled the scene.
