APD responds to injury crash on Wyoming Blvd at I-40 in east Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — At least one person was hurt last Friday evening due to a crash in east Albuquerque’s Mesa Village area, according to APD Traffic.

The accident was reported on a stretch of Wyoming Boulevard at the Interstate 40 ramp. Albuquerque Police were dispatched to the scene at about 7:04 p.m.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of the road were shut down during the emergency response and initial investigation.

As of this writing, the department has not disclosed the cause of the wreck or the number of vehicles involved, but injuries to at least one person were confirmed.
