ALBUQUERQUE, NM – At least one person sustained injuries due to a wreck Tuesday evening on Interstate 25 in northeast Albuquerque, according to the Albuquerque Police Department.
The accident took place on the northbound lanes at Indian School Road Northeast (Odelia Road Northeast), near the city’s University West area. Shortly after 5:30 p.m., officers were responding to the scene.
As of this writing, it remains unclear what events led up to the crash or how many vehicles were impacted.
Officials also have not confirmed the exact number of those hurt or the extent of their injuries.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Authorities were dispatched to a vehicle wreck Tuesday morning that blocked part of Rio Bravo Boulevard in southwest Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The wreck took place on the eastbound lanes between La Junta Road Southwest and Sunstar Boulevard Southwest. It was first reported by the BCSO at about 8:52 a.m.
While the sheriff’s office has not specified what caused the crash, part of the eastbound roadway was blocked in the immediate aftermath. Motorists were advised to plan routes around the area to avoid traffic.

By 10:51 a.m., nearly two hours later, all travel lanes were reopened to normal traffic.

It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt and/or had to be taken to a hospital.

The collision unfolded on the westbound lanes of Paseo Del Norte Boulevard (Highway 423) at Pan American Freeway (Interstate 25). It was first reported shortly after 11:00 a.m.
Details are limited at this time, but officials indicated that at least one person was hurt, though the extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.
