ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Injuries were reported Saturday morning after a collision on Central Avenue in Albuquerque’s Old Town neighborhood, reports APD Traffic.
Albuquerque Police responded to the scene at Rio Grande Boulevard, southwest of Old Town Plaza, shortly before 6:25 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the accident or how many parties were involved, but at least one person suffered undisclosed injuries.
All eastbound and westbound lanes of Rio Grande were blocked off during the emergency response.

Almost two hours later, the accident had been cleared and the intersection was reopened.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed further details on the condition of those injured.
